Mission Statement for
The Deck Industry Association
To provide easy access to information and ideas for anyone interested in the
deck industry. The DIA website exists to allow deck builders, designers, deck
company personnel and owners, (as well as the manufacturers and distributors of
related products), a place to have an exchange of information. Anyone with an
interest in this fast-changing industry can benefit. Some of the tools the Deck
Industry Association will provide for you:
The most complete RESOURCES section for the deck industry, with links to
manufacturers, suppliers, associations and councils, books and videos, magazine
articles, press releases and more. Also we will be a clearinghouse for
information regarding events such as seminars, trade shows, home shows,
conventions and expos that might interest our members and sponsors in the U.S.,
Canada, the U.K. and Australia.
The Results We Hope For:
- A more educated and informed field of individuals in our industry, who
will be able to provide the public with
choices that will suit their deck needs better than ever before.
- Knowing that
the more satisfied homeowners are with their decks, the more likely others
around them will also want a deck.
- As products and design ideas get better, deck
builders can improve long-term customer satisfaction.
